This is actually a few months old now, but I still like it.He is an ancient demon summoned out of the spirit world to guard a wizard's citadel in ancient times. He has done his duty well, but his protection has far outlasted the physical forms of what he was supposed to be protecting. He is sad because he knows that when the tower has crumbling into nothing his duty will be complete and there will be nothing tying him to the physical world he has come to love. He knows he will have to return to the spirit world soon, maybe never to return and he mourns for the loss of his connection to such a beautiful world.
